when i went to japan this game was huge i have yet to see it in the states i would love to buy it

Anyway, I just picked up this game a little while ago, and I'm having some problems FCing songs due to the drum dropping hits. Any suggestions? Am I just not hitting the drum hard enough?\

Edit: For clarification, I'm talking about the PS2 version.

The first time I saw this game was in Tokyo in an arcade and there was a crazy Japanese kid playing it and yelling and shit. I played and it was pretty fun but I haven't been able to find it in Miami :/
