Did anyone else go see this? This was even funnier than the original masterpiece. Jersey comedy is hilarious. All hail, Kevin Smith! _________________

dude, clerks 2 is indeed the awesome. not to spoil anything, but that donkey show was wrong on so many levels. was i the only one that within the first twenty minutes of the movie wanted to kick Elias' ass? Rosario Dawson did very well for her first try at a Kevin Smith Flick. i was kinda hoping for more Affleck and Jason Lee, but i'm totally cool with it. Long live bankie and Holden. oh, and on another note, Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms yo. |

what kind of question is that, of course Randall is in it. Clerks 1 was about Dante and Randall's day. it wouldn't be clerks (or a kevin smith movie for that matter) without Jeff Andersen. |

Rosario Dawson impressed me. I would have never pegged her as doing as well as she did in a Kevin Smith flick. It was an awesome movie, nonetheless. _________________

I'm not seeing Clerks II until this weekend, but I just cannot believe that a new Kevin Smith effort could possibly top his earlier work. The original Clerks is one of the best independent movies of the 1990s and a comedy classic. His follow-ups Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma follow in its great tradition, but Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Jersey Girl smear his great name. He's really been on a (self-admitted) kick lately of not making movies for other people, just making them to entertain himself (and get Ben Affleck work apparently). I wish he would go back to entertaining his audience. _________________

Yeah, his crazy Cousin Walter. Same guy who stuck cats in his ass to get the gerbil out from Mallrats. _________________

This is the general chat, though. The World Cup is over, we're running out of Simpsons quotes (not really, but we haven't posted in a while), so what else is left besides Clerks? We could talk about The Big Lebowski. That movie kicks ass. _________________
