|
|
all the videos ive seen on youtube of people playing drums on WT they have 4 notes instead of 5..... and i hear you can play with the RB kit on WT so if you play with a RB kit instead of the WT one does it just take off the 5th orange note or what? and which kit do you like more? |

If you use the World Tour drumset on Rock Band, yes, they will just cut off the orange note. And personally, I like the Guitar Hero World Tour drumset more. |

More specifically, any orange note gets changed to a blue or green note.
The RB drums have that familiarity if you've used them a lot, but any song with 16th note hi-hats is awkward. _________________

I believe orange will ALWAYS turn into a blue note. Everything else transfers over as the exact same color. Meaning some songs are hard as hell when playing on a RB kit. I would prefer my WT kit if it actually worked well. _________________

I think I heard it as "it will change to blue unless there's already a blue there in which case it'll be green". I could be wrong though.
And yes there's a lot of...awkwardness. Every roll is now red to blue to green which would be natural on the WT kit but feels a little strange on the RB kit especially because in RB there's more red to yellow to blue...sigh, I might just go back to RB2 until I get my midi cable. _________________

alright cool guys thanks, ive played with a rock band kit quite a few times but i dont have one, just whenever im playing at my friends thats the kit they have. so i just think ill buy WT with the drums instead of getting wt without drums and buy rockband drums. _________________
