Maybe...but they'll be able to draw from more popular songs. This game will be full of top 40 Hip Hop tracks. Guaranteed! |

Uhhh excuse me? You obviously can't see the 10 bombs in a room when they're right behind you(Yeah, that's my own proverb!!!!!). Most gaming devolpers are going into bankruptcy, Neversoft is just trying to kept it's ass out (even if they have an extremely slim chance of being let go of) hot water by doing many things. Plus, Activision-Blizzard being the peeps they are, probably assigned this project to Neversoft like the did with Drum Hero(Search it if you don't know what it was). Also, you can't say Harmonix is not doing the same thing. We still have complaints about Rock Band too, and they're working hard on multiple projects(Beatles game, RB DLC, supposedly: Amplitude 4(?, at least in the makings kind of stuff) RB3(Taking a big guess there)).
On DJ Hero. I'm a bit scared at the already confirmed rumor of GH compatibility. Hip-Hop =/= Guitar MOST OF THE TIME. Then again, I don't think that most people would want to anyway....(Then again, Buckethead and a DJ has happened before.... hmmmmmmmmm *Slapped by toymachine*) |

Don't knock it down a peg, this is just a fucking confirmation. Its Neversoft, yes, but somehow I have a little bit of hope for this. I'm just hoping they put some good lesser known songs into the game (or at least as bonus songs like HMX did). We'll just have to wait and see how it looks.

If they're going to take this approach, adding vocals is a must. Most modern hip-hop honestly isn't all that complex from the standpoint of something that would integrate well into a game. Have a turntable track, one or two vocal tracks above it... I could see it being fun.
