Guitar Compatibility

So I've never so much as seen GH1 and I wanna get it, but it aint in no stores around here so I'ma get it on ebay...so I"m wondering, to save some cash, will my GH2 guitar work with it? Be great if I can get just the game and still use my guitar...in any case I wanna play Ace of Spades realll soon!!

yes, the GH2 controller works just fine with GH1, just like how the GH1 controller works on GH2..
