i don't have the game yet, and i've never heard anything extra special about the Xplorer, why is there an extra port on it, i heard someone say it looks like an ethernet or phone jack? _________________

I think it's an ethernet port. You could use it to plug in pedals implimented in a future GH maybe? _________________

From what I know, it's a port for an Effects Pedal, as it says in the booklet for the guitar. . |

from what i've heard, reading in some magazines and so on, it's for the xbox-live headset, but since there's no support for xbox-live, something like a whammy pedal sounds nicer |

It's for an effects pedal, says in the instructions. Also it's not ethernet, its a phone jack, says right on the jack itself if you take a look inside the guitar |

Its a RJ-11 to be exact... and yes its a phone cord.
Now someone open it up already, find out where those wires go to! If it goes for star power, you can get a cheap keyboard foot pedal, get a cheap phone cord, and wire it up. _________________

i dont know where it says thea eather but to the best of my knowledge they don't make a pedal yet. I know that the controller will work with GH3 so maybe the will introduce them then of maybe in GH4. |

The jack's not for the headset, the headset has it's own jack. Plus you can "Chat" across games whether they're XBox Live or not. _________________

Ahh was just looking into something like this.
So nothing yet on a simple SP pedal activator?
After playing Jordan nonstop on ps2 i got used to palming the select button.
I tried out of reflex on an xplorer and looked like a retard. slapslapslaps. SONG FAILED. |
