I had to type in this code just two weeks ago when I decided(and ultimately decided to stop) to use breakneck speed. I remember laughing at the code and then typing it in, so you do need a code.
Also, I'm on Xbox360 and have Xbox live Gold if that makes a difference. |

Yes, I was the maintainer of the Cheats sticky, and since it's been locked I cannot update it anymore. I don't think they'll unlock it for GH:SH codes, since they did not for GH:M (granted, most of the GH:M codes were the same as GHWT). I'm pretty sure they would prefer that you use the Cheats wiki page that I created. I'll go ahead and add the two codes that have been found already.

| i just tried to look up the cheats.pak stuff. stuff is crypted, there's no way to figure out the codes like that. |

After I beat the game I spent 30 minutes or so trying to crack the hyperspeed but all I got was line 6 tones..... Poo idk but I'll try to record the new TTFAF today

Maybe it's a regional thing, because I know for sure that I (as well as many others) never put in any code for breakneck speed. I even remember people making a big deal about it not being a cheat, but rather an option, no code needed. |

I never had to enter any code. Hang on.... WTF? I just entered the code in WITH BREAKNECK SPEED CLEARLY ON THE MENU WITHOUT EVER ENTERING A CODE and then..... it said Modifier Unlocked! "Increased scrolling speed of instrument tracks.
I really don't get this. I think an update might be the culprit here. |

Breakneck is there by default, and always had been. There is a code for it but I think HMX decided that BNS shouldnt be a cheat and just forgot to ake the code out

Yea, breakneck speed is available as default, and theres also a code.
I found that code myself and was a bit confused. I still reported it as a valid code. I think there was another one like that, available from the start but still had a code. |
