Drums keep disconnecting...?

So, I'm using the RB2 drums on GH:SH.

My drum kit apparently disconnects four or five times throughout the song, and hilariously, I can hit the green on my kit to continue and it'll make the 'unable to continue' sound even though my drum kit is apparently disconnected. So, I have to walk over to the connector, pull it like, half a centimetre out (it doesn't even leave the port, it just disconnects) and then put it back in, and it'll work.

Anyone know why it keeps claiming the drums are disconnected even though they aren't?
