Tips for playing on hard?

Hey guys, i can get up to the end of the 4th tier and 5 star everything in smash hits but it all goes tits up when i play a song like psychobilly freakout, the pedal and drums get me every time.

i also cannot do drum rolls that fast *hello mother by danzig*

and tips on how to hold sticks/where the pedal should be and what part of the foot to use

When doing drum rolls it just takes some practice to get good at them. Good form is a large factor. Make sure you don't hold the drum sticks too tight or tense up. Google "how to hold drum sticks" or something along the lines of that. For the kick pedal lift your heel up a bit and hit it with the top of your foot.
