"The best one", as stated earlier in the thread, is going to depend entirely on YOU. On your hands, on your arms, on your wrists. Go to a music store and try them both out and see which you like better.
Please read the whole thread before bumping for a question that was already answered. _________________

I did it. It's just that, since I'm not a drummer IRL, and since this forum isn't extremely popular, someone who never saw the thread could give additionnal advices/opinion. _________________

My personal favorite are the Zildjian 5A Anti-Vibe's. I don't think they do anything on the WT drum padding though. I use Yamaha DTX's and I can't go back to any other drum stick because I notice how bad it hurts my hands with the vibration. Good luck! _________________

I used nylon-tipped 7A sticks myself. The lightness really helps gathering speed on the rolls and getting across the kit quickly. Plus since you're not hitting real drum skins, it's not that vital as to the quality of the stick itself.
Avoid wood-tipped for the reasons stated above and don't go too heavy or you'll enter cross-talk city.
I find the basic ones work fine, only around £5 a pair too. |
