Someone please tell me that Underground didn't make GH:VH non-RB instrument compatible on the Wii. Someone please tell me why they included crowd singing (Which is awesome to finally hear on Wii), but didn't see fit to let a large percentage of players play the game on drums!
I just got the game shipment today, and slid the disc in expecting to be able to rock out on drums, like I normally do, but to my surprise the game doesn't recognize my RB2 stock. I checked the top scores: it accepts both on 360 and PS3. This is the next generation; problems like this shouldn't exist.

But seriously though that pisses me off. Now I have to play on my ultra-clacky GH3 LP.

While this does suck, what did you expect from a game basically made from the same stuff as metallica?

1 -> i wouldn't classify wii as "next gen"... nor would I classify ps3 or 360 as next gen. They are all current gen, and of the 3, the wii is the weakest.

2 -> rb drums suck, get a wt set ;p

It's a problem with the WT engine, which is the one Van Halen most closely resembles. Unless they moved it to the GH5 engine, it was unlikely this would have changed.
