Seriously? "be a real man"? What kind of idiocy is it to say something like that because someone prefers one platform to another?
And anyway, I think Wii players such as myself have every right in the world to complain about not getting these free songs. This makes what, 13 free songs that the wii doesn't have that the other systems do? This pack, the neversoft pack, and that Christmas song? Why should the Wii not get to download these songs if they can easily download the songs they have to pay for? _________________

Blame Nintendo for being such a shitty company that they don't allow free DLC. If you don't like the way your hardware owner treats it's customers, move to a better platform. |

3 weeks of awesome DLC, I like what Beenox is brining to the table. Keep up the great work guys.
Also, Wii owners complaining about not getting free DLC is like PS2 owners complaining about not getting any DLC. Even though it does suck, because my favorite songs in GH5 are the free songs, :P. _________________

Free DLC is always nice -
When its 6 songs instead of one or 3 thats even better,
When it includes a Steve Ouimete track thats fantastic,
When ALL 6 are Ouimette tracks, then it gets pretty damn exciting,
almost exciting enough for me to forgive them for allowing me to get my hopes up when the first thing i saw skimming the announce was 'God Save the Queen', and i though for a moment it was a sex pistols 6-pack.. _________________

Awesome for the free pack. As for the others...eh, I might grab an Alice Cooper song or two. |

Well, I'm not complaining much in regards to this move but the way one or two of you have reacted to StormEagle's complaints, implying that the Wii is the "worst system on the market", is something that actually shouldn't have been said. We both play on that system for our own reasons, and nothing is going to convince us otherwise to move onto a totally different platform unless something uber-drastic happens (like with Sony's treatment of PS2-era customers around the PS3 launch, which convinced me to move to Nintendo consoles in the first place).
Like I said, I'm sad that us Wii folk will receive nothing that week, but all I can really do is be humble about it and move on. Complaining about the DLC policies here isn't going to change anything, unfortunately. _________________

fuck nintendo and all the other companies involved, sorry
it's nintendo's fault we don't get FREE DLC
it's Activision's fault we don't get THE DLC
I would pay for it seriously, but just let me get it _________________

You know, I like the free DLC the Wii owners can't get more than most Guitar Hero DLC. I'd shell out the 200 Wii Points for at least half of the songs they're just not giving us. And I do not buy much DLC. _________________

Wow, this is great news. We'll be getting this whole month except All Time Low, and I'll look into them in a minute. Hopefully at least one of those Ouimette tracks will give ScoreHero something to work on while we wait for GH:WoR ;)
Let's not turn this thread into a console war, yeah? I remember way back when the Wii was late to the party on DLC and lucky to get it at all, and now they're up to date and only missing the free packs. Maybe they'll offer the same DLC for a price when they see there is demand. It's unfortunate, but there's no use arguing over it because it is what it is. If you're not happy with it to the point of getting a different system, more power to you. But don't blame the game devs for what is Nintendo's issue. _________________

I can see Ouimette making an epic Star-Spangled Banner. I'm definitely going to pick up that pack. _________________
