This is the only part of Gingrich's platform I support.

Santorum makes my skin crawl but at this point I'm cheering for him as someone who can hurt Romney.

What is considered "obscene" pornography? Sounds very easy to just claim whatever they want as obscene, especially coming from a hardcore religious nut like Santorum. Gotta love how Santorum and others rail on the government being to big and trying to force themselves onto the people, but then act like them trying to force their religious views onto everyone isn't the same exact thing.

"We don't want big government except when it comes to things related to religion!"

God the fact that he's a real candidate and not just some long drawn out joke repulses me.

Guess I'm backing Gingrich completely now, instead of partially, despite the great odds against him.

This, not to mention he essentially made it so the Onion didn't even have to write articles. Every political pundit must be saddened knowing that there will be less crazy for them to pick on.

And of course to celebrate it all:

Santorum should give his delegates to Ron Paul.

My hope is that the majority of his delegates go to Ron Paul. A candidate can't "give" his delegates to someone else, they just go unbound. But if you think about who actually supported the nut job, you have christians who vote based on religion. Romney is a mormon. Gingrich is a cheater. That leaves you with Paul. A christian who has been married to the same woman for 50 years.

Plus, once someone really gets to understand Paul's views and support him they usually aren't easily swayed to anyone else.

Paul is going to surprise people at the convention. He will have more delegates than people think.

I would much rather have Paul get the nomination than Romney. That way, I could at least be marginally satisfied with the results of the election, regardless of the outcome. But that's not going to happen.
