Also, please participate in the GH5 thread, which I've reopened because of the requests for an adjustment to Judith. _________________

Harder than all of those. No comment. |

I agree that Paranoid is still harder than everything. |

Pivot Question 6E: Please place Paranoid (GH3) relative to these Band Hero and DJ Hero songs (Band Hero unless otherwise noted). Do not adjust the order of the following songs:
Big Beat / Lapdance (DJH)
Play That Funky Music / Just to Get a Rep (DJH)
In a Big Country
Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Mr. Roboto
As for me, I haven't voted because I haven't played in nearly 2 years now, by my reckoning, but if what I remember is correct about these charts, I'd put Paranoid between IABC and ERHIT. Our long nightmare (which I perpetuated in the interest of being systematic, to be fair) may be over. _________________

My instinct wants to say the opposite-- harder than everything. Every Rose and Roboto still don't have as tough of solos as Paranoid. |

Big Beat / Lapdance (DJH)
Paranoid
Play That Funky Music / Just to Get a Rep (DJH)
In a Big Country
Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Mr. Roboto
I don't have any experience with the DJH engine but I'm aware that it's a little wonky. I would be ok with Paranoid being voted as easier than Big Beat / Lapdance, but I'm going with this for now. |

Question 6E
Big Beat / Lapdance (DJH)
Paranoid
Play That Funky Music / Just to Get a Rep (DJH)
In a Big Country
Every Rose Has Its Thorn
Mr. Roboto
WINNER
And this puts Paranoid at #266 on the final FC list. Updating OP now. _________________

So, are we pivoting again?
It kind of feels like running more questions would be the only real way to get to a full breakdown within our lifetimes. |

I agree, and I'd like to, but I've got a bit to do (I've worked on how the adjustment to GH5 plays into the final breakdown, but I'd really like to resolve the WT DLC fiasco while I have the time this morning), so I'd like to shake this out first. _________________

I completely understand.
When and if this does start again, I'd say Monsters (GH3) would be the best pick of songs. It's safe to assume everyone's played it, the engine really doesn't interfere with the FC, all of the difficulty is in one section, the hard part isn't strumming, and it wouldn't be put too close to Paranoid or to the top.
Plus, we wouldn't have to vote around it on the guitar-only games, which is nice. |
