GH1 - Frankenstein #41/47
196/211: Getting close to 200/211 !
630/660 !!!!!!! There we go !
Damn, this was painful to grind. The GH1 hopos are a challenge but also the reason why this game is interesting, contrary to no practice mode forces which people into stupid grinding, and no hyperspeed which makes note-reading terrible and difficult to know if you play early/ok/late, even with a towel on the TV <_>
So I had 6 FCs past the trill, all of those I missed in the fast part after the break. 7th trill FC was enough.
My consistency was terrible, and in order to practice the fast stuff I HAD to make the run last until after the break, risking a "reverse choke" on the trill, because if I restarted everytime after missing in the trill, I would have gotten extremely little fast-part-training and I would have needed way more than 6 FCs post trill. Luckily enough, I got the fast part on a run where I FCd the trill, and then no choke after the fast part yay
Also 630/660
Aiming PWM (GH:80s) next

A well deserved 630, congrats! |
Thanks !
alexhaz64 wrote: | Hm, curious what you're gonna get for 200/211. PWM is obvious, and you're pretty much gonna have to get CFH too. Aside from that you got TF and Decontrol on GH1, Misirlou and Hangar 18 on GH2 (those are all songs I've FCd anyway)... are BiM and BatH possible at all for you? Either way, 200 will put you at 634 overall which ties with me :o I have no doubt you'll be passing me very soon...
Oh and congrats on Frankenstein by the way. It's an awesome FC |
Yeah thanks, really glad I got this out of the way
tbh I think after PWM both versions there will be a wall x) Probably take the opportunity to go further on bass FSFC and GH3PC. I'll save some GH3PC time for practicing GH1 and see how everything goes. Who knows, maybe I'll get better at TDWF or TTB strummings

Thanks too!
As for PWM, it's definitely not going down without a fight. Really hard song.
And it's not liking me.
Some time ago I tried grinding it and gave up, but I won't retreat this time _________________

PWM isn't supposed to go down easy ;) I think maybe you should've stayd on GH1 while you were on a roll. At least CfH shouldn't be too bad or Fire It Up. But good luck with PWMs and hopefully you'll find out how to 200.
Oh yeah and 630 is huge so congrats! _________________

Thanks! Well GH1 is extremely difficult and grinding is unfun so I'm not unhappy to play another game x)
But if you want to give me methods for CfH or FiU, I'll gladly try them out at some point
Also, comeback and get 200 yourself _________________

PWM 80's is a massive dick, especially solo D so good luck with that.
I still think PWM SH is harder though, probably my 2nd best GH-side FC after Speeding.
Good job with Symphony of Destruction by the way, that speed up in the first fast part of the solo was something I could never get down. _________________

Yeah solo D is terrible, also for some reason when I don't miss D I keep missing solo A or chorus 5 (post-solo F sweeps), dammit.
Didn't touch PWM SH yet, we'll see which one is worse, GH:80s engine or purple notes.

Thanks. Oh really?
__
Break it down like this:
DU
DUDUDU
DUDUDU
DUDUDUD
=> Play a snake. Speed up starts at 1st B so if you start accelerating at Y, you play a little early so, in order to compensate, you can actually strum slower than needed.
DUDUDU
Start early, almost no speed-up needed.
Also w00t, another comeback! 2 days after Jellu!
Let's race all 3 together
As for me, well, I managed to FC past solo A, past solo D, past solo F, and on chorus 5A, I hit the hopos just barely, so my right hand (resting during hopos) panicked when the chord came up, and hit hard the strum bar.
I got the chord, but strumbar came back up and upstrummed. RIP FC run

GH:80s - Play With Me #28/30
197/211: 3 to go for 200/211! - 631/660
YES! FINALLY!!! After 3 post-solo D chokes including a 100% OS, got the FC
Really happy about this :D
Enjoy the video, chokes included!
Everything in the second half on the song was real trouble, but only because of the engine, solo A & D strumming engine and after the solo, sweeps gave me trouble because the engine is apparently strict on HOPO timing.
In the end I really spent a lot of time on this song, thank god it's now out of the way!
