It's one of many themes...that book explores a lot about sociology, in children and in general. _________________

Period 0: Jazz Band
Period 1: Physics AP
Period 2: Calculus AP
Period 3: Foreign Language Assistant-Spanish
Period 4: Marching Band/Wind Ensemble
Period 5 (week a): Economics AP
Period 5 (week b): Government AP
Period 6: English 4 (Literature) AP
Period 7: French 4 AP
Comments:
Jazz Band is one period before school, hence the "Period 0".
Physics AP is nothing more than a gpa boost. Although the class itself should be easy, the AP test is based on 2 years of material, which I'm bound to fail unless I read the 2nd half of the Physics book on my own.
Calculus AP... the point at which programming skills won't matter anymore...
Spanish assistant is the people at the school fucking up my schedule. It's supposed to be French, but they couldn't figure that out from the "French 4 AP" on my schedule.
Band: relaxation. Except for my left hand. My left hand will hate me by the end of the marching season. Damn baritone.
Econ and Gov are both single semester classes, but to balance them out in preparation for their AP tests, they alternate every 2 weeks.
English: time to get back in touch with my good buddy sparknotes.
French: another easy class, another failed AP test. My friend who took all 4 years of French at my school, along with a year spent speaking French every day in Belgium on the foreign exchange program, said it was hard. I have no chance.
Overall: 6 AP classes... I'm scared... |

Ah.. Marching Band... It is a relaxing thing to do during the day, only I never had it as a class, it was always after school. We only had one baritone player... He wasn't that good. Drumline + Snare + Section Leader = Win! _________________

lol you took the words right out of my mouth. I hate when people use the word gay improperly..
Sounds like most people here are in high school or 8th grade.. holla for collegeness!! anyone?

Ewww marching band. Marching band was horrible at my school. 2 weeks of band camp, 1 hour rehearsals at 7 AM before school every day, 2 hour rehearsals AFTER school every day, and a 90 minute class during the school day to practice music. And we STILL didn't make it to State competitions in Texas. I'm glad those days are over. I get paid to be in my college band now And I don't work nearly as hard _________________

That was the gay part: we had to write 3 different essays on the book.
1: Main theme of the book
2: The point of the Pig's head.
3: What would happen if you were forced to take charge on an island.
I don't remember how I did with those essays; all I care about is that I aced the class. |
You need to stop using the word "gay" in that context. I swear to you if you knew a person who was gay you wouldn't say things like that. It just makes you sound ignorant. _________________
