I don't even have an X-Box 360, so I couldn't know (and not interested at the moment, might buy it when it is cheap enough... Meaning a year or two), but if I'm not terribly mistaken,

I absolutly love this game. Best $60 dollars since Oblivion and GH.

Good- -Story/Overtime mode(s) first few times around
-Free-Will while playing all of the modes
-Love the fact that survivors are really, really stupid (who wouldn't be in that kind of situation???)
-Countless rewards

Bad- -The Survivor mode's save issues
-YOU CAN'T USE THE GOLF CLUB OR HOCKEY STICK AS WEAPONS!!! (only the projectiles they fire {golf balls and hockey pucks}

My HD is perfectly fine... The only difference I can note than on a normal one is that mine is duller (I prefer it that way) and my friend's burns my eyes its so bright.

As stated before, one of the achievements in this game is to play for about 14 hours (Infinity mode). Without turning the system off. Yikes! Am I going to need a fan or something? My opinion of the game has changed with some new things I've seen playing it, just so many things to do. And this game has some of the hardest achievements on 360 to date. Pretty boring too... (Zombie Genocider) but probably still not as bad as PDZ.
