I just bought a mini DV camcorder and am loving the fact that I can now upload video to the internet. Problem is, the file is large, and of crappy quality.

There is a video I made for strutter on hard. It's 14 MB and pretty crappy quality. Take a look to see what I mean.

My question to all you people who have videos up, how can I fix this? I am using Windows Movie Maker, and Ulead Movie Studio.

1) Quality is not the best, but I think it definitely is good enough for GH.

2) Your file size is not large at all. I uploaded 70 and 90MB files to youtube of my two videos I have uploaded. So it's not like you have a huge file. It isn't tiny by any means, but in general, movie files are large.

I think it was fine for size and picture quality.

Not sure if you can do anything else about syncing up the audio though.

If you convert it using WinAVI from WMV to AVI, you can shrink that down quite a bit, using the DIVX codec.

So there is no way to perfectly sync the audio?

I should have rephrased that. I don't know how to fix the audio. I'm sure you can do it.

There should be an audio sync option.

Or you can get TMpgEnc and split the audio and video apart, then add the seconds for the pause so they can be synced up using Sound Recorder.

EDIT: How about this. When I get home, I'll dl the video and see what I can do to sync it up.

That'd be cool, but doesn't really teach me how to do it myself so I don't need to have someone else do it for me each time. Mr. Green

If you wanna do it, then pm me exactly how you did it, it would be much appriciated.
