since all the songs and sp and whatnot should be the same across all platforms for gh3.. will we be able to compare users' scores on different platforms? |

yea i play on the ps2 and i have friends that play on the 360 and its tough to compare scores, expecially with the different songs and sp's. it would be nice to be able to compare side to side like we can on the same platforms now |

most likely no
cause if you try comparing guitar hero 2 for ps2 and 360
it will only compare with one system
so basicly the same thing will happen with gh3 _________________

Guitar Hero 2 for 360 had more Main and Bonus Songs in the game. If the only difference in all the games is the DLC then yes, it should be fine with just the one set.
The DLC should be at the bottom and like with GH2 360, not affecting your rank. _________________

Activision "scorehero" has this. They probably have this copyrighted and are ready to sue anyone that gets in there way..... _________________

Assuming the songs and scores are exact across all platforms it will probably be one list.
Its gonna be a pain though. For example, there are over 2100 players that have entered scores for Surrender on 360 Expert. Better get used to being one of 20k which will probably make the fight for first really tight.
Whatever the mods come up with, I'm sure it will be perfect for the community and everyone should stop worrying. |

If we are all once console, the competition would be way too fierce.
What happens if you own two versions of the game. The DLC is probably also different so I would like to seperate them. _________________

For DLC, they'd probably have them in bottom sections called "360 DLC," "PS3 DLC," "Wii DLC," that won't affect overall rank.
I'm all for a unified section of the game, gives a more accurate rank.

I believe it was Army who said that there will be two sections: PS2 and PS3, 360, and Wii. The purpose of this is that the guitars for the two sections are very different, and in turn it will have a completely different playing experience. Therefore, two sections. _________________

Personally, I would like to see them all seperated, as it would be rather annoying if I had to combine the best scores from two different versions of the game into a master set-list, for when I play for periods of time when I don't have internet access, etc, I like to be able to just scroll down the set-list to get my non-entered scores by comparing to my Manage Scores page.
Also, if it's separated into PS2 + PS3 & 360 + Wii, where the hell is the PC version? :P _________________

I thought that the only reason the GH2 XBox was different was because it was released way after the PS2 version. Cause the setlists and stuff are arranged differently also... Since GH3 is coming out at the same time over different platforms, crossing fingers it's all the same? _________________
