i started playing beatmania again (horribly). ive only got BMUS and IIDX red (got bmus when it came out, same with red), but im interested in some of the other games. does anyone know if any of the older games are a bit easier to get me up to speed, since alot of the songs i have available are a bit to hard for me.

If you can handle worse graphics, the older styles are definately easier. Give me an IM if you are interested in trying 5th style.

imo, i think that 7th or 5th styles are the best for getting newbies into the BM game......everyone and their mom has 7th so yea.

i personally, would recommend 7th style. It's a great introduction to players who haven't really played IIDX and is also great because DDR players can get into it too cuz a lot of 7th style songs are featured in DDR, some of which actually sound better in IIDX than in DDR (Max 300 anyone).
