I just saw this, found a link for a download (can't share here, sorry ) and it is the, certifiably, most fun game of all time.

It makes a "rollercoaster" for ANY song based on tempo and listens for notes and generates a "chart" for them. You ride the rollercoaster and collect the notes, generating points for combos. There are several different ships you can use, each with its own ability/drawbacks and each ship determines the type you play, some with multiple color notes, some with only one and other objectives (dodge all the gray blocks in that video).

I've been playing for four straight hours and this is my first break.

I'm really surprised there wasn't a thread about this already, or if there is, I didn't find it.

I swear I saw a thread on this somewhere not that long ago. I wonder where it went?

I've never played it, but I found a download link. Hopefully it'll work.

I'm not really sure I'd call it a chart. Because you play with music that you have stored on your computer. The BPM of the track is set with the how fast the tempo goes in the song. Also, the blocks are also set up for certain parts in the song, and it isn't necessary you hit them, but it helps with your score. In game, it's important you avoid all gray blocks, as well as collect colored blocks. It's like a rhythm game mixed with a puzzle game.

I wonder why the search didn't pick that up :| weird.

Oh well, there's a way to play it still since it's beta is closed and the servers aren't up, someone wrote a program called audio surfboard that redirects the clients traffic back to your PC and runs a dummy server so you can play. No online or leaderboards, but meh, you can still play it.

I had the same problem, You have to get the old version(now only from torrents). This game = win! But some songs dont sync up well and the old versions enviroments dont have as much change(in the new beta 2(expired), It was really cool seeing what each song would "look" like cuz it actually worked, in the first, all i get are pretty colors and moving blocks for almost every song :P

Wow. This game rocks. Can't wait until the final version releases.

Just a quick suggestion. If you want an insane song, try Toreador II by Apocalyptica

Yea, I tried that on my PC and my girlfriend's laptop and the game works fine on the laptop, but I have no idea why it won't on the PC. I am using the same files...

It's on PC, he said he was using a 360 Wired controller to play.
