At the top right, click on Profile. Near the bottom is a radio box for "Always notify me of replies". The default for this feature appears to be "on". Turn it off. Press submit. Sorted.

The notification emails work? I always thought my mail server was not working properly. _________________

What's happening is that the emails are being sent from a long time ago (weeks or months in some cases). I get notifications about PM's myself that are not true. Until I solve the issue with my mail server the best solution is to not request email notifications for anything on the forums. _________________
